Deputising for the usual Class 50, 33015 passes Deepcut on 28 August 1987 with the 1O12 06:42 Exeter St Davids to Waterloo service. Despite being 1,150 hp less powerful than a Class 50, it was only running a few minutes late after its long journey from Devon. The random mix of Network SouthEast and blue and grey stock is very typical of this route at the time.
