33025 Sultan & 33116 Hertfordshire Railtours pass Alrewas on 28 January 1995 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z27 05:20 Swindon to Gladstone Dock 'Gladstone Bag' railtour. Although a pair of 33s would normally be quite enough, the highlight of this tour would have been the use of a pair of 73s in the Merseyside area, well away from their former Southern Region home. However, MerseyRail would not sanction their use due to the loco's poor condition.
