Cherry blossom time at Claverton on 20 April 1988. 33027 Earl Mountbatten of Burma heads up the Avon Valley with the 1O42 13:05 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour service. This was during the last few weeks of Class 33 workings on this route, with the loco hauled trains being replaced on 15 May by Class 155 units - hardly an adequate substitute!
