33101 passes Worting Junction on 24 May 1986 with the Southampton Eastern Docks to Waterloo Ocean Liner Boat Train. There was no mistaking this prestigious 'as required' train, even without reference to the 95 headcode. The train is made up of Clapham Junction Carriage Depot's dedicated rake of all first class Mk2 coaches, with the addition of a GUV at the head of the train for the passenger's luggage. This train would operate from either Eastern or Western Docks, dependant on which berth the cruise liner had used. |
