After a day of disappointing weather, with the sun vanishing behind clouds at the critical times, it all suddenly changed at the very end of the day on 22 January 2000. Just before 33103 was due with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z44 15:25 Appleford Sidings to Preston 'White Horse Rambler' railtour, the sun dropped out of the clouds and produced this fantastic lighting, with the dark clouds to the east really standing out. 33103 ambles along the down relief line at Circourt Bridge, Denchworth, prior to its booked ten minute stop at Challow.
