33208 & 33202 The Burma Star pass Little Bedwyn on 24 August 1996 with the Hertfordshire Railtours 1Z33 09:00 Paddington to Minehead 'Quantock Crompton' railtour. This was an extremely lucky picture, as not only was a boat passing though the lock on the Kennet & Avon Canal just at the right time, but also the sun broke through on what was a largely cloudy day. I went straight home after this, rather than following the train to the West Somerset Railway. This was just as well, as the weather was dire further west.
