Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 35028 Clan Line passes Compton Beauchamp on 15 May 2019 with the Belmond British Pullman 1Z93 17:11 Bristol Temple Meads to Victoria charter. I was really surprised to be the only person at this location, which although severely compromised by the new 25kV catenary, is still one of the least obstructed, and less backlit locations for an evening picture on the line between Swindon and Didcot. I suppose if it was the vastly overrated Flying Scotsman, rather than Clan Line, then there would crowds of the usual idiots everywhere!
