Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 35028 Clan Line passes Moreton-in-Marsh on 26 September 2026 with the UK Railtours 1Z84 16:49 Worcester Shrub Hill to Victoria 'Worcester Pullman' railtour. With an impressive load of 14 coaches, and no diesel loco assistance, this superb locomotive has managed to recover from the four minute late departure, and was back on time here. That included the formidable four mile long 1 in 100 Campden Bank. There were two surprises here. Firstly, there were no other photographers at what is one of the best locations at this time of day on the Cotswold Line, and secondly, that the large mass of cloud that was approaching from the south west managed to stay away from the sun until just after the train had passed!
