Class 423 4-VEP 3585 brings up the rear of the 10:06 Charing Cross to Margate Connex South Eastern service, as it passes through Wye station on 10 October 1998. The semaphore signals were replaced by colour lights in 2003, and the slam door stock disappeared from the network a couple of years later.
