37009 stands in the yard at Didcot on 31 July 1992. Railfreight Distribution Class 37s were then still daily visitors to the area on MoD stores trains, a traffic that continued despite the closure of the Speedlink network the previous year. Note the ancient and modern stop signs on the right of the picture. A few GWR wagons can be seen behind the fence in the background, in the Great Western Society's Didcot Railway Centre. |
