37029 heads south light engine past Radley on 9 July 1991. At the time RfD Class 37s were quite common in the Didcot area, as they were used on the MoD trains that had survived the end of Speedlink. Just visible amongst the trees directly above the nose of the loco is the Carfax Conduit, a stone structure that was removed from the crossroads in the centre of Oxford in 1797, and rebuilt in the grounds of Nuneham House. |
