37114 City of Worcester heads west along the Great Western Mainline at Compton Beauchamp on 9 September 1997 with a departmental working, presumably from Didcot to Swindon. This location used to be ideal for westbound trains in the evening, as after 18:00 the sun was sufficiently far round on the north side of the line for decent lighting.
