37201 passes Tondu station on 28 July 1991 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z81 06:28 Liverpool Lime Street to Onllwyn 'Vulcan Valley Venturer' railtour. The station had closed in 1970, but would happily reopen a year after this picture was taken. It is clear from the colour of the track that this is the first train to venture this way for some time! 37138 is on the rear of the train.
