37203 Kempton Park 20 March 2004

Kempton Park Pumping station, which houses the world's two largest triple expansion steam pumps, dominates the skyline, as 37203 heads back from Shepperton with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z91 'Buffer Puffer - The Return!' railtour on 20 March 2004. Classmate 37047 can be seen on the rear of the train. After a dull day, the sun finally decided to break through towards the end of the day, allowing this backlit picture, the location of which is only a short distance from the world famous racecourse.
