Possibly one of the shortest revenue earning trains that I have photographed, and the most overpowered! 37218 & 37716 pass Ashchurch on 18 April 2017 with the 6V73 04:33 Crewe Coal Sidings to Berkeley, conveying a single PFA container flat. This was to receive a container of low level nuclear waste. The train had left Crewe over an hour late, and was still 46 minutes late here, which was fortunate, as the lighting angle was better, and it didn't need to use the loop on the right, which is obviously not so good from a photographic point of view. What I was not prepared for was being a able to get a second picture, after 37716 was removed from the train at Gloucester. |
