37219 passes through Shipton station on 15 June 2016 with the 1Z78 08:37 Derby RTC to Bristol High Level Siding Network Rail test train. This had left Derby 30 minutes late, and this delay had increased to 40 minutes by the time it traversed the Cotswold Line. I was surprised that I was able to photograph this in sun, but it was sunny for the entire 25 minutes I was at this location, despite it being cloudy all round. In the background of this picture are the dark clouds in the west that heralded the afternoon's thunderstorms, while to the east was a mass of more broken cloud. Shipton was obviously the spot to be!
