The heatwave of July 2018 caused several heritage railways to substitute diesel for steam, because of the fire risk. Superbly restored Railfreight Metals liveried 37227 was called in to action on the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway on 8 July 2018, and is seen here emerging from the trees at Bledlow with the 11:00 Chinnor to Thame Junction service.
