37258 arrives at Lydney on 23 April 1994 with the Monmouthshire Railway Society 08:08 Newport to Gwaun-cae-Gurwen 'Gwaun-cae-Gurwen Growler II' railtour. It is just about to pass over Harbour Road level crossing, which at the time was controlled by the Lydney Crossing Ground Frame (formerly Lydney West Signal Box). The box (which has subsequently been removed) was unusual in that it was built on girders over a steam. Note the bridge lintel and handrail in front of the box.
