With its extra large number on the front, there was no mistaking 37274, seen here passing Llangewydd on 15 April 1991 with the 6B02 13:13 East Usk Junction to Coedbach Washery Network Coal service. As late as the 1990s the domestic coal market was sufficient to support a dedicated network of coal trains serving strategically placed depots and mostly using the distinctive red topped HEA wagons, as seen here. However, this is a trunk service returning to be reloaded, and unfortunately most of the other trains weren't this long!
