Due to various problems with the rostered Class 37/4s, 1999 saw various members of the Class 37/0 subclass in use on the North Wales coast. Such was the case on 29 May 1999, when 37298 worked the 1D69 12:20 Crewe to Holyhead service, seen here passing the old water tower as it approaches journey's end at Holyhead.
