37380 crosses the River Avon at Eckington on 28 February 1998 with the 6Z61 07:30 Bescot to Swansea Burrows Sidings MGR empties. As this was completely unexpected, and I had only just arrived at the location, this is a scan from a 35mm Fujichrome transparency, rather than a 6x7 slide. The procedure in those days was to use a 35mm Canon A1 and Pentax 6x7 on a homemade bracket. As this combination was so unwieldy, it had to be taken apart and reassembled at each location. On the plus side, I suppose it was lucky that this train didn't pass while I was still on the long walk from the car!
