37401 & 37417 Richard Trevithick pass the site of Bredon station with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z66 05:05 Cardiff Central to Ravenglass 'Lake District Explorer' railtour on 14 June 2008. It was completely cloudy when I left home, so I decided to go to this location rather than a more open spot that I would have chosen if it had been sunny. You can guess what happened next! Just as it was getting too late to move to another spot, the sun started to break through! Luckily however, the low sun (it was still only 06:53!) was just high enough to fully light the two locos. The industrial unit in the background marks the site of Bredon station, which closed in 1965.
