After being held at the signal that protects the single track section of the Cotswold Line from Charlbury to Wolvercote Junction, 37402 Stephen Middlemore 23.12.1954 - 8.6.2013 gets the green signal, and blasts out of Charlbury station on 19 June 2019 with the 2Z02 08:23 Reading to Reading (via Westbury, Taunton, Bristol and Worcester) inspection saloon. Note the Zone 7 notice on the platform. One of the annoying constantly repeating announcements at this station informs passengers which zone is first class, etc. Zone now being GWR speak for coach!
