37402 Bont Y Bermo passes Llanbradach on 27 September 2003 with the 1B96 09:11 Rhymney to Fishguard service. Various buildings from the former Llanbradach Colliery can be seen in the background. The concrete road leading to the modern industrial unit on the left is built on the course of the former exchange sidings. When the colliery was operating, a bridge carried a tramway across the line just around the corner, onto a spoil tip on the opposite side of the line.
