37403 Ben Cruachan is a long way from its namesake mountain, as it passes Bunbury on 10 July 1999 with the 1K61 10:22 Bangor to Crewe Regional Railways service. The loco did return to Scotland after working the North Wales for most of July 1999, but only to head back to Wales again (this time the Rhymney Valley line in the south), where it ended its days. |
