37406 The Saltire Society & 37401 The Royal Scotsman (which is actually in Royal Scotsman claret livery, although the angle of the lighting makes it difficult to tell from EWS red) pass the site of Challow station with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z37 05:04 Derby to Weymouth 'Solent Syphons' railtour on 9 April 2005. The remains of the down platform can be seen on the left, although this was largely removed in the early 1990s, when the freight loops were laid. The four track section extends from here to Wantage Road.
