37407 Blackpool Tower climbs the 1 in 50 Upwey Bank at Bincombe on 1 April 1995 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z90 16:10 Weymouth Quay to Cardiff Central 'Wessexman' railtour. This was a formidable gradient in the days of steam, but it is no problem for the 37, with its light seven coach train. The train is approaching the site of Upwey Wishing Well Halt, which was opened by the GWR in 1905, and closed by British Railways in 1957.
