37407 Blackpool Tower accelerates away from Llandrindod Wells with the 1Z54 special to Rhymney on 21 July 1999. This train was provided in connection with the Royal Welsh Show, which is held at nearby Builth Wells. Possibly because it was midweek, and in 1999 Class 37s were still reasonably commonplace, there were very few other photographers about to record this working.
