A dramatic and very lucky spotlighting effect at Jamestown, near Inverkeithing on 26 April 1998. 37410 Aluminium 100 & 37406 The Saltire Society roll slowly round the curve and prepare to stop at an adverse signal, when a brief patch of sunshine appears from nowhere and illuminates the locos - perfect! The train is the Regency Rail Cruise Kyle of Lochalsh to Bristol Temple Meads 'Lord of the Isles' railtour. This pair of locos worked as far as Edinburgh Waverley, from where 37402 & 37431 took over.
