On one of its final workings before being placed into storage, 37419 partners classmate 37425 Pride of the Valleys on the 5Z46 11:42 Coventry to Old Oak Common empty stock working on Sunday 30 April 2006, seen here passing Thrupp, between Banbury and Oxford. The stock had been used on the previous day's 'Whitby Jet' railtour from Coventry to Whitby. 37419 had been assigned to the WNTR stored locomotives pool, and after working an Acton to Wembley steel train the following day, went to Temple Mills for storage.
