37421 The Kingsman crosses Pen-y-Clip Viaduct on 15 June 1996 with the 1K61 10:23 Bangor to Crewe. Due to the close proximity of the road and cliffs on the left, this location only gets the sun around midsummer, and even then the area on left is in shade. So I was fortunate that on this occasion the only high cloud of the day softened up the light just enough to reduce the contrast.
