37423 Sir Murray Morrison 1873-1948 Pioneer of the British Aluminium Industry speeds through the remains of Calveley station on 10 July 1999 with the 1K65 12:22 Bangor to Crewe service. The platforms here were unusual in being bisected by the bridge carrying the A51 Chester to Crewe road, which makes a neat frame for this picture. The station closed in November 1964.
