37427 Highland Enterprise is a long way from the Highlands as it passes Droitwich signal box with the 1V19 19:00 Birmingham New Street to Cardiff Central service on 4 August 1996. It is accelerating off the single track line from Stoke Works Junction. The very low evening sun resulted in the usual vantage point from the bridge being in shade, so this is taken from the small car park to the west of the line, looking over the high fence. A good choice, as we were treated to this burst of clag as the driver opens up.
