37428 passes Kinmel Bay on 10 June 2000 with the 1D73 1415 Crewe to Holyhead service. The town of Rhyl can be seen in the background. 37428 had started the new decade in Scotland, spent the summer on the North Wales coast, went back to Scotland for a few weeks, and ended the year back in Wales!
