37516 & 37679 pass the site of Hathern station on 19 June 1999 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z90 05:49 Bristol Temple Meads to Goole 'Spinning Spectre' railtour. Although the railway passes through the nearby villages of Normanton on Soar and Sutton Bonington, neither had stations. Instead, Hathern station was opened between the two villages, even though the village of Hathern was over a mile away. It closed in 1960.
