37611 Pegasus passes the site of Stoulton station (closed in 1966) with the 5Q76 11:35 Long Marston to Newport Docks (Sims Group), conveying former GWR HST power cars 43053, 43070 & 43079 on their final journey to the scrapman on 10 January 2022. This was running 50 minutes late, after having lost its booked path over this single track section of the Cotswold Line. As the weather was so dire, I took the opportunity to use this particular viewpoint from the north side of the line, which would not be possible had the sun been out.
