37612 slowly approaches Ascott-under-Wychwood on 1 December 2022 with the 1Z23 09:30 Bristol Kingsland Road Signalling & Telecomms Siding to Derby RTC Network Rail test train. 37610 is bringing up the rear. This was a VSTP replacement for the 1Z23 06:45 Bristol Kingsland Road to Derby RTC, which was cancelled due to technical issues. This replacement left 100 minutes late, but was only 7 minutes late here, partly due to taking Didcot West Curve, rather than reversing in the station. As it was foggy (although nothing like as foggy as it was at home!), I decided to include some convenient autumn foliage in the foreground, to brighten things up.
