37688 Great Rocks passes Flax Bourton on 27 May 2021 with the 5Z41 09:00 Laira to Crewe ECS, taking the former East Midlands Trains Mk3 HST back from whence they came, after their two week holiday in the West Country! The coaches had been taken south on 10 May, during the Class 800 underframe crack crisis, the intention being to make up an additional HST. We were extremely lucky that this was running a couple of minutes late, with the sun surprisingly coming out at the very last minute. You can clearly see that the bridge in the background was under a cloud, as apparently was the road bridge a few hundred yards behind us.
