Yorkshire Engine Company 0-6-0 396 rests between duties at Cooper's Metals, Highworth Junction, Swindon, on 25 June 1996. The loco, which was formerly based at GKN in Cardiff, was on hire to Cooper's at the time. Built in 1959 with works No.2761, it formerly carried the name Lemanis. The rusty patch above the front two side grilles shows where the nameplate was attached. Neither the Volkswagen or Suzuki pickups in the foreground have survived. More surprisingly, the classic Vespa scooter is also no longer on the road
