40145 passes Thrupp in the pouring rain on 25 November 2006 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z40 05:54 Manchester Piccadilly to Salisbury 'Son of Christmas Cracker' railtour. Apologies for the terrible quality of this image, but it was taken in what seemed like near darkness. At least I got a picture, as if I had gone to my other local line, between Didcot and Swindon, I wouldn't have seen it, as it was diverted via Newbury due to flooding in the Swindon area. Flooding shouldn't have been a surprise, given the conditions!
