Class 438 4-TC 423 is pushed past Newton Tony on 19 April 1986 by 33106. The train is the 2L11 08:37 Basingstoke to Salisbury service, which would return a little later with 33106 leading, as the 1L06 09:29 Salisbury to Waterloo. Largely overlooked at the time, interest has now been increased in these units by Kernow Model Centre's bold decision to commission a model in OO gauge.
