43002 passes Aller on 7 December 1988 with the 1V42 07:45 Leeds to Paignton 'Devonian'. Unfortunately this view is no longer possible, as the farm occupation bridge that crossed the line here was demolished on Christmas Day 2013 in connection with the A380 road improvement scheme. This is the short four tack section of line between Newton Abbot and the Aller divergence, with the Paignton lines on the right, and the Penzance lines on the left.
