Both of GWR's recently repainted 'heritage liveried' power cars, sandwiching one of their rakes of green coaches. 43002 Sir Kenneth Grange leads the 1A83 10:00 Penzance to Paddington service past Woodborough on 11 October 2016, with 'InterCity Swallow' liveried 43185 Great Western bringing up the rear. Typically after standing around for over two hours in unbroken sunshine, just at the critical moment a cloud partially got in the way. I suppose we were lucky to get any sun, as earlier in the day it had been very foggy, and there was still a lot of cloud around, both to the north and south of this location. |
