Running 23 minutes late, and in atrocious light, 43007 passes Bredon on 25 August 2023 with the 1E63 15:27 Plymouth to Leeds CrossCountry service. The reason for photographing this train in such poor weather was the fact that 43008, which was the rear power car, was making its maiden trip in recently reapplied InterCity Swallow livery. If the weather looks bad here, at least it wasn't raining. However, shortly into my homeward journey it was like a monsoon, with the road resembling a lake, and visibility seriously reduced.
