43009 speeds underneath the roadbridge at Finstock on 6 March 2017 with the late running 1W01 10:22 Paddington to Hereford GWR service. The bridge seems to be quite leaky, with water dripping down onto the ballast and forming a large pool. Just as the train came into view, a couple of pheasants were walking across the line a short distance down the track. Judging by the cloud of feathers swirling around in the train's wake, at least one of them didn't make it!
