43031 speeds past Circourt Bridge, Denchworth, on 6 March 2015 with the 1C18 14:30 Paddington to Weston-super-Mare First Great Western service. The white plastic in the centre of the picture marks the site of one of the masts for the forthcoming electrification. The piling has not gone at all to plan, with some piles been driven through signalling cables, and in other cases difficult ground conditions preventing them being driven in fully. Presumably it will all be sorted out, but already the project is a year behind schedule, and of course massively over budget!
