43036 passes Bourton on 28 December 1985 with the 1A31 10:05 Bristol Temple Meads to Paddington service. Although by the time the HSTs received this 'executive' livery, the Class 253 set designation had largely been abandoned, some repaints still carried the set number (253018 in this case).
