43040 Granite City passes Bourton on 1 November 1994 with the 1A25 07:02 Swansea to Paddington service. The loco's Granite City name is hardly appropriate for the Western Region, but at the time that it was named (June 1990), it was part of the East Coast fleet, and therefore much more familiar with the granite city of Aberdeen.
