An everyday 1990s scene from Cheltenham, that has now changed completely. 43050 passes the remnants of a once extensive track layout at Alstone, as it works the 08:22 Nottingham to Paignton 'InterCity Holidaymaker' on 4 August 1990, taking a Neville Hill HST to the West Country. The rusty sidings have now been removed, as have the railways buildings in the background, to be replaced by the inevitable modern industrial unit 'big shed'.
