Diverted away from the Midland Mainline because of Sunday engineering works, 43052 passes the site of Glendon Sidings and approaches Glendon South Junction with the 1C00 07:23 Derby to St Pancras service on 12 February 1995. The freight only route via Corby is regularly used for such diversions. The field in the foreground was formally part of Glendon East Ironstone Quarries, with tramways connecting with the mainline.
